Overview
As part of my role at Expert Business Solutions, I design weekly social media posts to communicate product updates, new features, and highlights from our ERP software and its components. These designs aim to both educate and engage our audience, while staying consistent with the company’s visual identity.
The Challenge
- Create consistent yet creative social content that reflects the company’s branding.
- Ensure each post has a clear purpose (announcement, app highlight, feature update, event, milestone).
- Keep designs aligned with the 8 core brand colors.
- Maintain a professional yet approachable style that communicates trust, reliability, and innovation.
My Approach
Understanding the Purpose of Content
- New release announcement
- Feature spotlight
- ERP application component overview
- Event or company milestone
Concept Development
Translate the content’s purpose into a visual story. For example:
- “New Release” posts use bold typography and dynamic layouts.
- “App Highlight” posts use icons and diagrams to show usability.
Color & Branding Alignment
Incorporate the 8 logo colors as gradients, highlights, or supporting design elements — balancing vibrancy with clarity.
Typography & Layout
Use modern, clean typefaces; structure layouts that guide the eye from headline → key message → CTA.
Weekly Workflow
- Receive the content brief
- Sketch quick wireframe ideas
- Design in Figma/Illustrator/Photoshop
- Deliver polished designs for publishing
Outcome
- Delivered weekly content that communicates ERP features and updates effectively.
- Built a recognizable visual identity system for social posts.
- Improved engagement by making technical content more visual and accessible.
Reflection
I learned to balance creativity with branding discipline. Designing posts with a consistent palette while keeping each piece unique sharpened my ability to tell visual stories for different purposes, and improved my speed and efficiency delivering high‑quality content weekly.
